Negombo

DAY 01 – Airport – Negombo

· Arrive in Sri Lanka, to be met at the airport and transfer by air-conditioned Vehicle to a Hotel in Negombo.
· Rest of the day at your leisure.
· Overnight stay in Negombo
Sigiriya

DAY 02 – Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage and Sigiriya rock

• After an early breakfast travel to Sri Lanka’s cultural triangle via Elephant Orphanage, a institution that has been looking after orphaned or injured elephants that would otherwise have surely died.
• If you leave the hotel early then you can watch the elephants bath in the river after the youngest babies are milk fed.
• After lunch you will leave for the cultural triangle and check in at a hotel in Sigiriya.
• Overnight stay in Sigiriya.

Polonnaruwa

DAY 03 – Polonnaruwa

· Breakfast at the hotel and travel to Polonnaruwa and visit Polonnaruwa Cultural sites. Polonnaruwa was the capital of Sri Lanka from the 11th to the 13th century AD.
· This ancient city is today one of the most beautiful centers of this island’s cultural heritage. In its prime, the city, inside its 3/ Miles strong encircling walls, housed hundreds of thousands of people.
· Evenings visit a forest Buddhist monastery. And the afternoon

· Take a jeep safari through the Minneriya National Park, looking for elephants, deer, peacocks, boars, and many kinds of birds.
· Overnight stay at hotel at Sigiriya.
Habarana

DAY 04 – Sigiriya – Habarana

· The following day you can enjoy a relaxing morning at the hotel poolside or explore surrounding by walking or having a relaxing massage from an ayurvedic center.

· In evening visit a forest Buddhist monastery.
· Overnight stay in Sigiriya.
Kandy

DAY 05 – Matale – Kandy

· After breakfast check out from the hotel and leave to visit Sigiriya rock fortress, one of Sri Lanka’s most fascinating UNESCO world heritage sites.
· No matter how often you climb to the summit of this one-time hilltop fortress of the maverick Sinhalese king, Kassapa, the pleasure barely diminishes because of the abandoned spectacular views at the summit.

· Afterwards travel to Kandy another fascinating city of Sri Lanka.
· En route visit a spice garden in Matale.

Kandy

DAY 06 – Kandy

·  After breakfast, you will have a city tour of Kandy, visit the temple of the tooth, and have some leisure time shopping.
· Evening you will be entertained with a spectacular Sri Lankan cultural show.

DAY 07 – Nuwara Eliya

·  After breakfast you will explore “Little England” a city tour with the option to walk around the streets.

· We will also visit the Haggala botanical gardens.

DAY 08 – Nuwara Eliya

·  After breakfast you will travel deeper into the tea-growing hills and have the option to wind through the mountains with magnificent views.
·  En-route to Nuwara Eliya you will visit a factory of the popular Sri Lankan Tea.
· Rest of the day at your leisure.

DAY 09 – Ella – Yala

· After breakfast you will travel to Yala.

DAY 10 – Yala National Park

· Earlier morning you will go for a game drive to Yala, one of the island’s most popular wildlife parks where you could see all most all the animals which are found in Sri Lanka.

Galle

DAY 11 – Galle Dutch Fortress

·  After breakfast leave for Bentota En route Visit the Gall Dutch Fortress.
· An ancient city that is now a modern and buzzing town today.
· It was the most important sea port way back in history, where the sea-faring merchants arrived to trade and barter.
· This is also where the Portuguese first set foot in the year 1505 and built a fortress, which was later captured and fortified by the Dutch.
· The fortress is one of the best preserved on the island. A visit to the fortress and watching the sunset from the rampart is an experience unforgettable.
· The oldest Protestant church in the country called the ‘Groote Kirk’ built by the Dutch is located inside the Fort.
· It is situated close to New Oriental Hotel also built by them as the Governor’s Residence in 1684.
· you can go for a boat ride in the Madu River

Day 12/13/14 – Beach Vacation

· Beach Stay with many choices for spending your time.
· Leisurely strolling on the Golden Beaches enthralled in the magical atmosphere.
· Lazing on a Sun deck reading a book of your choice and sipping a cool fresh tropical fruit drink of pine apple, Mango, and Banana.

DAY 15 – Colombo -Airport

· Then travel to Colombo you will have a city tour in Colombo

· It is also the commercial and financial center of Sri Lanka. A bustling metropolis, the city is an attractive blend of old and new. It has the lazy charm of the bygone era combined with the verve and vivaciousness of a modern city.
· Overnight stay hotel in Colombo.
· Visit the important places in the capital city of Colombo, such as the Parliament, Gangarama Temple, Independence square, Galle face Green, Museum, and world trade center.
· Transfer to the airport on time for the flight.
